2. LHIN Collaborative Communiqué (April 2009)
The LHINs have formed LHINC, with the intent of strengthening relationships between and among health service providers, associations, and the LHINs. It will also have system alignment in mind. For more on this development, please refer to the attached memorandum.

6. Diabetes and Serious Mental Illness (CMHA Ontario)
This report comes from a recent think tank hosted by CMHA Ontario that considered how best to implement strategies that tackles the disparities of care occurring in persons with a mental health diagnosis who also have diabetes or are at high risk of developing the disease. We have attached this for your information.

11. American Medical Association Endorses Concept of Mental Health Home
The “mental health home”, which combines apparently the characteristics of an ACT team and a Family Health team, is proposed in this write-up as a model for dealing with individuals who are at risk for serious mental illness and homelessness.
